AhlulBayt News Agency: The General Secretary of the All India Shia Personal Law Board, Maulana Yasoob Abbas, stated that the ongoing spread of rumors and insulting statements against the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei, by certain electronic and print media outlets is highly condemnable and completely unacceptable.
Maulana Yasoob Abbas said that the All India Shia Personal Law Board strongly opposes such media propaganda targeting the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. He emphasized that the dissemination of rumors and disrespectful remarks against Ayatollah al-Uzma Sayyid Ali Khamenei by some electronic and print media organizations is intolerable.
In his statement, Maulana Yasoob Abbas said that insulting the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran through certain electronic and print media platforms cannot be tolerated under any circumstances.
He further stated that a few so-called electronic channels are continuously broadcasting rumor-based and misleading messages, attempting to create the false impression—God forbid—that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, is preparing to leave Iran. He categorically remarked, “Those who say ‘Ya Ali (A.S)’ do not flee the میدان (battlefield); rather, they compel even the mighty to abandon the field.”
Maulana Yasoob Abbas added that the All India Shia Personal Law Board strongly condemns the indecent and insulting attitude adopted by sold-out media channels working on the agenda of the United States and Israel, particularly the so-called “Godi media” in India, against Ayatollah Khamenei.
He said that Ayatollah Khamenei is a great religious leader and a globally recognized religious personality, and character assassination of a religious leader in this manner is deeply regrettable and condemnable.
Referring to history, he said that during the rule of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, global powers also tried to prevent Imam Khomeini (RA) from returning to Iran, and it was believed that he would not be able to return. However, Imam Khomeini did return to Iran, and from Mehrabad Airport to Azadi Square, the Revolutionary Guards carried his vehicle on their shoulders.
He said that the same situation exists today with Ayatollah Khamenei; not only the entire nation of Iran, but the Shia community across the world stands shoulder to shoulder with him.
In conclusion, Maulana Yasoob Abbas stated that whether it is electronic media, print media, or Godi media, the All India Shia Personal Law Board strongly opposes such statements and propaganda and will continue to firmly reject any such attempts in the future as well.
